The mill in 1975 was gutted by fire. The mill owned by William Pashley Bramald and later his son Ronald, ceasd milling in 1960. After the fire the mill lay derelect for 3 years before being purchased by R & N Restaurants Ltd. The materials for the renovation were relaimed from the warehouse at Wakefield Flood Lock when it was demolished. Picture from Elsie Walton | |
